Our current Projects
We are currently involved in providing funds for these projects highlighted on our home page.
- Since Rotary and its partners launched the Global Polio Eradication Initiative nearly 30 years ago, the incidence of polio has plummeted by more than 99.9 percent, from about 350,000 cases a year to just 37 cases in 2016. To sustain this progress, and protect all children from polio, Rotary has committed to raising US$50 million per year over the next three years in support of global polio eradication efforts. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match Rotary’s commitment 2:1. Without full funding and political commitment, this paralyzing disease could return to previously polio-free countries, putting children everywhere at risk.
- Rotary has contributed more than US$1.7 billion to ending polio since 1985,

- Brain Tumour Support
- anyone who faces the devastating news of a tumour can now pick up the phone or send an email and now Brain Tumour Support is there to help, with a support network for patients and their families, made up largely of people who have experienced or been part of a similar journey. They are there for everyone, whatever the grade of tumour, whatever their individual need and however they need help. Thanks to a dedicated team of staff and the generosity of its supporters the charity is now in its second decade.
To rid the world of Polio for good.
We initiate and own projects to raise money for specific causes (see right hand side of this page and our home page). These causes may change each year depending on which the then current president chooses for his or her term of office.
